Hey Bookworms! I am back again, I am already doing much better than I did last year. I am gonna give myself a pat on the back, and I hope you’re all still following along with me. I wanted to write today, to keep my mind busy, so I went searching for a topic because as I am starting to write this I just woke up an hour ago.
I went to That Artsy Reader Girl and fell in love with the theme for today! The characters I’d follow on Social media, as any good reader and book, my mind often wanders back to them and wondering how their lives are after the story ends. So what better way to keep tabs on them either before, during or after their story by following them on Insta or Twitter? Anywho let’s get started!
Characters I’d Follow on Social Media
1. Adrian and Sydney (Bloodlines Series by Richelle Mead)
If you have followed me since I started this series, is it any surprise I would want to follow my favorite fictional couple. Seeing what Adrian is doing to annoy the hell of Sydney and what he does to make up for it. Also to see the rest of the group popping up in their feed letting me know they’re all okay.
2. Hachi (The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa)
Is your social media even complete without following an animal, especially one on an adventure?! I mean I am just saying, and this way it can give me a view of Japan.
3. Natalie (Natalie Tan’s Book of Luck and Fortune by Roselle Lim)
From the traveling that took place before the story starts, to the food Natalie cooks. She seems like the kind of person I need to feel me for a love of travel and food. I also have a feeling she would do IG cooking videos to teach you how to cook.
4. Daisy Jones & The Six (By Taylor Jenkins Reid)
And we all follow a band and a singers granted when these singers start out they didn’t have social media, but to keep an eye on the members now to see how their lives are going now, who wouldn’t want to know?
5. Percy and Annabeth (The Heroes of Olympus Series by Rick Riordan)
I know this isn’t the first book, but Percy especially as he gets older, is one character that always makes me giggle with his antics. I love Annabeth as well for her love of knowledge and keeping Percy level. I would love to see what they get into when they are not on quests, but more on a day to day life.
6. Twinkle (From Twinkle with Love By Sandhya Menon)
As an upcoming film maker and photographer it would be amazing to see her up and coming works, BTS stuff, and her photos to see through her eyes. I love following artist feeds even if they make my own pictures seem bland.
7. Andi (Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly)
(Let me just say before I start I enjoy this original cover more) I want to see Andi’s journey across Paris and how she heals after. I love this story and still think about her.
8. Wanderer (The Host by Stephenie Meyer)
I miss her and Ian so much especially since the end of this book feels incomplete. I know this book takes place in a dystopian setting, so who knows if social media even still exists, plus the characters are on the run? So their posts may not be many but some clues of the rest of their lives being okay would make me happy.
9. Lucy (The Time of My Life by Cecelia Ahern)
I want to know how Lucy is now after spending time with her life and I want to have pictures of the adventures she went on with her life. If her life ever comes back to visit her. I constantly think about Ahern’s characters.
10. Tamara and the Nuns (The Book of Tomorrow By Cecelia Ahern)
I want to know further how Tamara grows and enters adulthood, I love the Nuns too and I am dying to see what antics they are getting into!
Most of these I have used in the context of Insta, but because that is the platform I use the most. These are the books that I am dying to know more from the characters. I miss them. I only included books with series I have finished, because I didn’t want to run across any spoilers. Who would you love to follow? Who do you still think about after the book has ended? Let me know in the comments and link your TTT in the comments below as I would love to know. I hope you have a wonderful week and Happy Reading!
