Hey bookworms! It’s time for Day 4 of my challenge (for Days: 1,2,&3)! This lovely challenge and banner were created by Annreads. Soooo… I didn’t know what to make of the meaning of surprise for Day 4, so I decided to interpret it my own way! So surprise for me was the bookish surprise I received from my Book BFF Paige!
Day 4: A Surprise that Made my Rough Day Better
The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell
To be honest 2015 has been a really rough year for me especially the last few months. I won’t go into too much detail because I promised not to put too much of it on my blog because my feelings about it all could change in a month. On one of my really bad days I got home from school and was trying not to think on the recliner like I often do, and my mom comes in from bringing in the mail and hands me a package. I was confused and beyond excited because I wasn’t expecting anything to come. I ran and got the knife to free the mystery under the paper (for those of you who don’t know Paige is a bit tape crazy… A bit is a bit of an understatement…) Once it was free I almost started crying because of the beauty of the cover and then reading the premise. I was speechless and extremely grateful starting to wonder if my BFF was psychic… This was the best surprise of my year! For those of you who haven’t guessed by my signature my obsession has been with wolves since I was very young and any books on them are hard to find. I am almost done with this book and will review it as soon as I am! That was my biggest book surprise of the year and I can’t thank her enough for helping me when I needed it most with such a simple gesture!
So that’s it for this post bookworms! What was your biggest book surprise of the year? Whether it was a book you weren’t expecting to receive or a surprise within a book. Let me know in the comments. Happy Reading and for those of you face finals like me, Good Luck!
