June Uppercase Box Revealing: Gushing!

Uppercase Revealing!

Hey Bookworms! So today I thought I would do my June Uppercase Revealing! On booktube these are often called unboxing, but since you guys are seeing picture I am calling it a revealing. What is Uppercase? Uppercase is a monthly subscription service in which you receive one book and some goodies! There are 3 types of subscription types, but my favorite (and the one I have) is the personalized box. I am very picky and sometimes don’t liked hyped books which I often see are contemporary. I love a magical aspect to my books. Paranormal or Fantasy are my favorites. Especially retellings!  I love a lot of action that keeps me reading. The thing about the personalized box that makes me feel the most special is the letter to me explaining why I will love/like this book! Now I know I didn’t post for the first 2 boxes, but I promise to do it from here on! Here is what I got! The pictures were taken from my phone, so I am sorry they aren’t the best quality…

The Book

The Diviners by Libba Bray

Now I’ve never read a Libba Bray book, but I know this got a lot of hype when it came out. I am glad to get it now though since the 2nd book has a release date. The setting in this book also makes me beyond eager to read it: the 20’s. I secretly (well not secret anymore since I am telling you) think I was a flapper in a past life! The chunkiness scares me, but I am up for the challenge!

The Swag!

They sent me the most awesome stickers and tote bag from Bookiemoji! Words cannot explain how much I love the Totebag and stickers! They are the best things I have ever gotten. The Tote has also been very useful when going to the library. The letter always makes me smile to read. I am saving the stickers for something special! =)

Well that is all for now bookworms! I hope you don’t mind the multiple posts in one day, but am a little bored today. Have you read this book? Do you use subscription services? Which ones? If you use Uppercase which subscription do you have? Let me know down below. There may be one more post tonight! Happy Reading!

Friday Reads

Hey bookworms! It’s me again. I was watching Booktube this morning and saw a few Friday Reads videos, and I thought I would do my own… Well at least the blogging equivalent too it. Friday Reads is a chance to discuss what I plan or hope to read over the weekend. Honestly? I am feeling a little slumpy despite my intake of books. My attention span just to be all over the place or I am just too sleepy to physically read a book. I hope it goes away over the weekend though because I really want to participate in another readathon, but that is a post for Sunday hopefully. So here is what I hope to read over the weekend!

Friday Reads

1. The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows

The Orphan Queen

This is library book and it is due next week. I only am in 2 chapters in, but it is good so far plus the cover is pretty! So yea hoping to finish it this weekend!

2. A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin

A Clash of Kings

I’m doing a buddy read with Paige from The Paige-Turner. We read 12 chapters a week from each book and cheer each other on, so I want to finish at least 12 chapters by Sunday

3. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses

This was my personilized Uppercase book for May, so I hope to finish this one up by Monday at the latest because My  June one gets here!

4. Everneath by Brodi Ashton

This one is due on the 20th so I need to also hurry up and read it. I hope it is as good as the author painted it to be at the book Festival in October!

5. The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot

The Princess Diaries

I have the audio book from the library, so I’m hoping it pulls me out of my slump like audio books have lately.  I plan to start it in a bit =)

So Bookworms, that is what I plan to read this weekend! What is on your reading agenda? What do you do to fight a slump? Have you read these? Which should I look forward too most? Let me know in the comments! Another post will be up soon! Happy reading!

PS: Just for fun here is what I’m currently listening to! Does anyone know if there are any Swan Princess Retellings book wise?
