Hey bookworms! It’s me again. I was watching Booktube this morning and saw a few Friday Reads videos, and I thought I would do my own… Well at least the blogging equivalent too it. Friday Reads is a chance to discuss what I plan or hope to read over the weekend. Honestly? I am feeling a little slumpy despite my intake of books. My attention span just to be all over the place or I am just too sleepy to physically read a book. I hope it goes away over the weekend though because I really want to participate in another readathon, but that is a post for Sunday hopefully. So here is what I hope to read over the weekend!
Friday Reads
1. The Orphan Queen by Jodi Meadows
This is library book and it is due next week. I only am in 2 chapters in, but it is good so far plus the cover is pretty! So yea hoping to finish it this weekend!
2. A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
I’m doing a buddy read with Paige from The Paige-Turner. We read 12 chapters a week from each book and cheer each other on, so I want to finish at least 12 chapters by Sunday
3. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
This was my personilized Uppercase book for May, so I hope to finish this one up by Monday at the latest because My June one gets here!
4. Everneath by Brodi Ashton
This one is due on the 20th so I need to also hurry up and read it. I hope it is as good as the author painted it to be at the book Festival in October!
5. The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
I have the audio book from the library, so I’m hoping it pulls me out of my slump like audio books have lately. I plan to start it in a bit =)
So Bookworms, that is what I plan to read this weekend! What is on your reading agenda? What do you do to fight a slump? Have you read these? Which should I look forward too most? Let me know in the comments! Another post will be up soon! Happy reading!
PS: Just for fun here is what I’m currently listening to! Does anyone know if there are any Swan Princess Retellings book wise?
