Hey bookworms! I am almost catching up on this challenge! Yay me! If you want to see my 1st Day and go on from there I will link it. This challenge was created by Annreads on Instagram and I thank her for letting me do this challenge because it has been a way to keep my blog active as well as my brain! So let me get started!
Day 13: Favorite BFF’s
Unspoken by Sarah Rees Brennan
Kami and Angela
Let’s face it we all need a BFF we drag into adventure and I relate to Angela’s need for a push sometimes. I hope to finish this series next year to see if my love of these 2 friends remain the same
Dreams of Gods and Monsters by Laini Taylor
Zuzana and Karu
Now I know I raved on Zuz on Day 7, but I really do adore this duo! They have such a solid friendship. The constant support of each other and the way they joke and play! I’ve loved them from the first instance they were together!
Bridge to Teribithia by Katherine Paterson
Jessie Aarons and Leslie Burke
Honestly it was nice to see a friendship between a boy and girl, so young. Someone to push you to be better it is amazing read on how two different minds can push you to grow!
Day 14: Books that Deserve More Attention
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Need something to curve your craving until the next X-Men movie? Well this is the book I recommend. I know it came out 2 years ago, but I feel it didn’t get the attention it needed because I wasn’t even aware of it until the my lovely Book BFF Paige sent it to me! I got to the end and couldn’t believe I hadn’t found it sooner. I plan to read the second as soon as I finish the reread I am on Scribd as well as some paper books that have been waiting for me. Definitely kept me guessing!
Inspire by Cora Carmack
Honestly my favorite Cora Carmack read because it took such a twist with Mythology and the muses! I definitely plan a reread before book two comes out!
Citrus Vol 1 by Saburo Uta
Now just like the cover the content is a bit explicit, so be warned, but I must spread the love for this. I am a manga lover and have been from a young age, but I am one of the few girls that does not have a love for yaoi. It just isn’t my thing, but I do have a good love for yuri with a good amount of angst and tension. I want them to work for a relationship. Sadly their aren’t many Yuri (girl love) manga out in the world, so I have to spread the love with this one. I really am addicted and want to know what happens next with each volume!
Well bookworms that is all for this post! Did you grow to love any new fictional friendships this year? Which were they? Do you know books that need more love? Know any yuri manga I should check out? How about any books that remind you of X-Men? Any X-Men reader fans out there or am I a lone mutant lover? Have you read any of these books if so share your thoughts with me on them in the comments! Happy Reading!
Hey Bookworms! I hope you’re week is going well and a lot less more chaotic than mine… So I decided to try and keep on a roll with this challenge while I’m still awake. For those of you who read … Continue reading
Hey bookworms! I know this is a late-ish post, but I just finished an assignment a bit ago and felt I could use some fun. I also know I haven’t done a wrap-up in forever, so this will let you all know what I have actually finished reading. So what is WWW Wednesday? It is a weekly feature hosted by Taking on a World of Words in which we answer three questions:
1. What Have You Recently Finished Reading?
2. What are You Currently Reading?
3. What Do You Plan on Reading Next?
Faking It by Cora Carmack
This is the only book I have finished this week, I have finished 3 other audiobooks in the last week, but I didn’t want to stretch. I thought it was an okay story and I might have liked it more with different narrators, but it was just too quick of an attraction for me! So this was a 3.4 out of 5 stars for me because I did appreciate the message near the ending.
1. Wolfsbane by Andrea Cremer
This is my audiobook reread of the week and I am really enjoying the revisit of my reread. I think I am enjoying it more this second time!
2. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by JK Rowling
I’ve been reading this between assignments to give my brain a break. I have been highlighting and loving the small things I find in this reread.
3. This One Summer by Mariko Tamaki, Jillian Tamaki (Illustrator)
I noticed this was on Scribd, so I thought I would read this tonight because it’s a light read and I’ve wanted to read it forever, so I jumped on it!
1. The Wolf Wilder by Katherine Rundell
I had to put this one down for a bit but I want to get back to it because I really want it to have a happy ending and review it for December!
2. Alias Hook by Lisa Jensen
I am on my last renewal for this one, so I really want to try and finish it before Tuesday wish me luck!
3. Tease by Sophie Jordan
Honestly I don’t care for the narrator, but I want to finish the series and I don’t have much time to read print lately.. I am hoping the read is worth it.
4. A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
This is the credit I used for November so I will try to get to it by the end of the weak! I am excited to start something by this author and maybe it will push me into reading The Diviners!
Well bookworms that is it for tonight and I finished it while it’s still Wednesday. Have you read any of these? What were your feelings or favorites? Link me your WWW Wednesday and let me know in the comments! Happy reading and to my US readers have a fun and happy Thanksgiving!
Hey bookworms! It’s time for another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by the lovely blog The Broke and The Bookish. Now I wasn’t sure I was going to do this topic today, but seeing the other posts made me curious. Curious … Continue reading

Hey bookworms! Where is my summer going?? I actually want this summer to take it’s time, but if this week is any indication I doubt it will. Fall will be my last semester and that fact is a bit scary! Any who no more scary talk about that future, but let’s reminisce about the past as in what I read in June. In June I read a total of 14 books (which is way more than I thought)!: DNFed 2 books, read 4 graphic novels, 5.5 audio books, 1 hard copy book, and 1.5 ebooks! So let’s talk about the books going in the order of what was read first.
1. Finding My Prince Charming by J.S. Cooper
This was my DNF and it was because I couldn’t take it! I gave it a 1 star if I Goodreads would’ve let me give it a lower rating I would have. For more reasons why I didn’t finish this book I talked about it in The Nintendo Book Tag.
2. The Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern
My first audio book of the month! Honestly by the middle of this book I realized Cecelia Ahern had officially become one of my favorite authors. The sense of mystery and magical realism of this book had sucked me in! This book was a 5 out of 5 stars.
3. We were Liars by E. Lockhart
I didn’t love this book, but I really liked it! I felt such a nostalgia reading an E. Lockhart book again after so long. Confession that I’ve only read one of her books, but it helped me when I was younger. The mystery in this book could’ve been a little stronger and the reveal wasn’t my favorite hence the 4 out of 5 stars for me!
4. Amulet Volume 1 by Kazu Kibuishi
Honestly isn’t my favorite graphic novel read, but I can see why it is meant for a younger audience. I think it’s perfect for a middle grade read to keep their attention. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars, but I don’t think I will continue with the series plus library graphic novels worry me.
5. Enthralled by a lot of authors
This was my second DNF. Now don’t get me wrong I really loved the two stories I read! I want to pick it up another day, but I am was not in a collection mood.
6. If You Could See Me Now by Cecelia Ahern
Honestly I adored this and would kill for a hard copy of this book. The audio book was amazing and loved the narrators. I definitely recommend it for a first listen. I adore this and it is 5 out 5 stars for me and it is my second favorite Ahern book.
7. Ms Marvel Volume 1 by G. Willow Wilson (author) and Adrian Alphona (artist)
This was a good read a 4 out of 5 for me. I definitely loved her family and her explaining the need to fit in. This had very good character development
8. Vampire Academy The Graphic Novel by Richelle Mead (Author), Emma Vieceli (Illustrator), Leigh Dragoon (Adapter)
Adore it! Talked about it in my last Top Ten Tuesday so if you want to know it was a 5 out of 5 stars =)
9. A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
Finally finished my reread and it was a 5 out of 5 stars. Can’t wait to get deeper into book 2
10. The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
My third audio book and my first time to the series! I loved that Anne Hathaway narrated this book! It was a 4 out of 5 for me and a good start for me!
11. Princess in the Spotlight by Meg Cabot
I loved this one still narrated by Anne Hathaway. 5 out of 5 stars. You really find out who the characters are and Mia becomes more of herself as a character.
12. Princess in Love by Meg Cabot
The last one narrated by Anne Hathaway and was super cute! Another 5 out of 5 stars for me!
13. Echoes of Us by Kat Zhang
A great wrap-up for this trilogy. This is the read that I half read and half listened to. I really loved both aspects the reader was one of my favorites. I am sad to see it end, but I really loved the concept of this series and definitely recommend it for new sci-fi ish readers. 5 out of 5 stars
14. Pandemonium by Chris Wooding and Cassandra Diaz
This was a really good read and I gushed about it in Day 7 of my challenge post. It was definitely my favorite read of the month. 5 out of 5 stars!
So that is what I read for this month bookworms! Hope you don’t mind, but my July TBR will be a separate post tomorrow. Have you read any of these? Let me know your opinions and what you read for the month of June either by comment or link! Happy reading!
