My Review:
Hey Bookworms! I am finally summoning up the bravery to do another review… So I hope you all enjoy it, but it may sound a little like rambling since this is off the cuff. I read this book last week, so the thoughts are still fresh! As always the link is in the title for a synopsis on goodreads because I don’t want to make this post too long! I am going to try to break this up into section as best as I can, so I hope you guys can follow this okay… This may be a little spoilery though in the reasons I did not like it, so if you haven’t read it be warned!
Reasons Why I Picked it Up:
So if you have read some of my very first posts I think I mentioned Abbi Glines was my introduction to the genre of New Adult. I devoured her Fallen Too Far series and because of that I picked up her other stuff too. When I found out that this series was going to follow the love stories of other characters I liked; I didn’t hesitate to buy those as well. This turned the series into what is known as The Rosemary Beach Series. Now each of the love stories in the series is a series within itself, so you don’t have to start with book one. So here are my reasons:
What I Didn’t Like:
What I Did Like
Wrapping it Up
So overall I did really like the book, but this one being her 11th book in the series the clichés just were too much. There were more I could mention, but I didn’t want it to sound like a crusade (and I really hope it doesn’t). These are issues I think as part of the age group of these characters need to be brought to light. There needs to be awareness in this day and age. I wanted to quote a love scene, but realized it was long. I hope my review wasn’t too harsh. I commit to a series and finish it to the end, and I do love these couples even if I disagree with their choices at times. I hope I can write a happier review next time. This is my fourth review, so please feel free to tell me what I could do better on, or what you liked
