Friday Reads: My Weekend is Slightly Booked… (4/29/16)

friday

Hey bookworms! It’s finally Friday (well at least Friday night as I’m writing this), and I realized I haven’t done a Friday Reads in a looooong while… So I decided to let you know what my reading plans are for the weekend. It may not be as much as usual because My Mom and Uncle’s birthday is on Sunday! I will be hopefully reading a lot when I can though. So onto the Books!

1. Firstlife by Gena Showalter

Firstlife

This is my new audio book listen and plan to finish hopefully by tomorrow. The male narrator is really making me giggle, so it gives me hope for liking this book!

2. A Whole New World by Liz Braswell

A Whole New World

I started this and was intrigued after watching Special Features on Aladdin. So the beginning has me curious. I haven’t turned on my Nook in a few day so my weekend goal is to read a bit more.

4. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte

So I went back to campus last week to visit a professor and she gifted me a copy of Jane Eyre! (Not this edition a Norton Anthology, but this one was more appealing for the blog) So I plan to at least sit and start it this weekend if the weather is nice enough to give me some natural light!

So that’s all for now bookworms! What are you planning on reading this weekend? Any of these? Have you read these? What were your thoughts on them? Let me know in the comments below. Have a good weekend and Happy Reading!

  1. All three of these are books I really want to read! The only one I actually own is Firstlife, but I’m hoping to either buy the other two or borrow them from the library relatively soon 🙂 I hope you enjoy them!
